Meet Tiffany Robbins | Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Robbins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
The Sanctuary of Wellness was created with the intention of offering people a space where they can come as they are and feel safe, accepted, and supported. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary for healing, a place where individuals can release the pressure to be perfect and instead embrace their authentic selves. By doing so, we help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and empower people to see that healing is not just about surviving but about rediscovering who they are beneath the pain.
Our impact extends beyond therapy sessions. We have an incredible team of clinicians and administrative staff whose diverse experiences, specialties, and perspectives enrich everything we do. Together, we create a collaborative environment that reflects compassion, inclusion, and community. Each person on our team plays a vital role in ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and valued from the moment they reach out.
Healing at The Sanctuary of Wellness is not limited to words alone. It is felt in the atmosphere, in the small moments of kindness, and in the connections we build. Our four-legged team members have been a special part of that impact as well. Susie, our late Chief Barketing Officer, brought comfort and calm to everyone she met and left an unforgettable legacy of love. Today, that spirit continues through Zara, our Director of Pawsitivity, who brings warmth, laughter, and light into the space. Both have shown us that healing often begins with unconditional love and presence, qualities that shape the heart of our practice.
My passion for travel and cultural exploration has also influenced the Sanctuary’s approach to wellness. Through studying meditation, yoga, and different healing traditions from around the world, I have been able to integrate holistic and mindful practices into the therapeutic work we do. These approaches encourage clients to find peace, balance, and grounding in their own unique way.
The true social impact of The Sanctuary of Wellness lies in the ripple effect of healing. When one person begins to heal, that transformation extends to their family, relationships, and the community around them. By helping individuals reconnect with themselves and their sense of purpose, we help foster a kinder, more compassionate world, one person, one story, and one moment of healing at a time.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Sanctuary of Wellness was created from a lifelong dream. Today, that dream has become a wellness practice built on compassion, authenticity, and connection. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can embrace their true selves, explore their healing journey, and reconnect with who they are beneath life’s demands and expectations.
What sets us apart is the heart behind our work. At The Sanctuary of Wellness, therapy is not just about treatment; it is about transformation. We focus on the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Our team meets people where they are and tailor care in a deeply personal way. From traditional talk therapy to mindfulness, movement, and creative expression, our approach is rooted in holistic wellness.
One of the things I am most proud of is the environment we have cultivated. Our clients often describe The Sanctuary as a place that feels calm, welcoming, and real. Whether it is the warmth of our team, the laughter that fills the hallways, or the gentle presence of our office pup Zara, our Director of Pawsitivity, it is a space where people can breathe a little easier and feel seen for who they are.
The journey to where I am today has been filled with lessons. Building a business requires faith, resilience, and an openness to growth. There were moments of doubt and uncertainty, but I learned that challenges are often the foundation for transformation. Each step, whether smooth or difficult, strengthened my belief in the purpose behind this work.
The most valuable lesson I have learned is that leadership is not about perfection but presence. It is about showing up with authenticity, compassion, and humility. It is about creating a culture of care not only for clients but also for the people who work alongside me.
What I want the world to know about The Sanctuary of Wellness is that it was built with intention, heart, and hope. It is a reflection of years of learning and exploration. These experiences continue to influence how I approach healing, connection, and the work we do every day.
At its core, The Sanctuary of Wellness is more than a therapy practice. It is a community that celebrates growth, honors individuality, and reminds each person that they are worthy of healing and belonging.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting, I would want to show them a visit filled with connection, relaxation, and the kind of experiences that capture the heart of South Florida living. One of our first stops would be the Morikami Japanese Gardens in Boca Raton. Between the beauty of the gardens, the serene sound of the waterfalls, and the ponds filled with koi and graceful birds, it is the perfect setting to connect and catch up with a loved one. There is something so peaceful and grounding about that space that reminds you to slow down and be present.
After our walk through the gardens, we would make our way to Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach for lunch. The energy on the Avenue is always vibrant, filled with great food, live music, and friendly faces. I love finding a cozy outdoor spot where we can enjoy a meal, people watch, and soak in the sunshine.
As the afternoon cools down, a beach day would be a must. Being a proud dog mom, we would head to Spanish River Beach during the afternoon pup hours. There is nothing better than watching Zara play in the sand and make friends with the other pups while we unwind by the ocean. It’s the perfect mix of joy, laughter, and calm.
The rest of the week would be a blend of local experiences. We would explore small coffee shops, enjoying a yoga session or two, visiting local markets, get some Sushi and spend time in nature. My goal would be to create moments that feel authentic, peaceful, and connected. I would want to create the kind of memories that fill your heart long after the trip ends.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people who have played a meaningful role in my journey, and I truly would not be where I am today without them.
First and foremost, my family has been my foundation. My father has never let me give up on myself and has helped me in more ways than words in an article could ever express. One of my favorite memories connected to the office is when he won a lotto scratch off and decided to use his winnings to help me purchase my first office furniture. He brought me to the store and had me try every single chair that looked like it could be a good therapist chair, one where I could cross my legs and have space for my pup to sit up with me. We spent hours finding the perfect chair, and once the furniture arrived, he spent hours at the office helping me build and decorate. Throughout the years, he has always been the first to offer to build, fix, or help out, no matter how big or small the task. I will forever be appreciative of his time, words, and efforts to help me succeed.
My mother showed me that a woman can own a business and be her own boss, and that sometimes you have to make sacrifices to reach your goals. My brother has a special way of reminding me how awesome I am and how courageous I can be, especially when doubt starts to creep in. To both sets of my grandparents, thank you for always being there to listen to my accomplishments and my struggles, and for offering unwavering love and encouragement without judgment. I am also grateful for my friends. Whether we have stayed connected, grown apart, or simply moved through different seasons of life, each relationship has shaped me. They have taught me resilience, reflection, and how to honor growth in all its forms, both personally and professionally.
I am deeply thankful for the mentors and supervisors who helped guide my path. Angela Bustamante’s leadership style taught me the importance of integrity, structure, and leading with intention. Laura El Sayed modeled authenticity and spirituality in the therapy room and reminded me that healing begins with genuine connection. I am also thankful to my professors at Lynn University and Palm Beach Atlantic for their wisdom, support, and for believing in my potential even when I questioned myself.
To my colleagues and business mentors in the field, your collaboration, insight, and dedication continue to inspire me. I learn from every conversation and consultation, and your shared commitment to helping others reminds me why this work matters so deeply.
I want to express my appreciation for my incredible team at The Sanctuary of Wellness. From our administrative staff to our clinicians, your compassion, dedication, and diverse expertise bring our mission to life every single day. You are the heart of the Sanctuary, and your presence ensures that every person who walks through our doors feels supported, valued, and cared for.
Finally, I want to honor the strangers who became friends during my travels around the world. Each connection, story, and shared moment inspired me to trust my intuition, release fear, and follow my dreams. These experiences reminded me that courage and kindness exist everywhere and that the world is full of people who lift one another up simply by being real.
Every person who has touched my life, from family and mentors to friends, colleagues, and even those met in passing, has shaped The Sanctuary of Wellness into what it is today. Their influence continues to guide me, both in my work and in my heart, and I am endlessly grateful for the love, lessons, and encouragement that continue to light the path forward.
