Meet Tim Chester

Tim, always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
My Name is Timothy Chester and I go by the moniker, PeaceRussie.
I’m a Producer and Artist from Baltimore, Maryland by way of Silver Spring, Maryland.
I’ve been producing music of various genres for over a decade.
I’ve produced for the local Baltimore Music Community and mainstream artists, both across the country and abroad.
I have multiple releases on Bandcamp and have maintain a following with every release.
I was a Finalist for the ‘Loop Diggas’ Series, Created by Producer, God Sense Beats, in which producers are tasked with recreating songs, or ‘flips’ from obscure records
On January ’23, I created the ‘Her Flowers’ initiative.
With a focus on highlighting and revising Women, Femmes, and people of the feminine spectrum.
I have found success with this effort, by remixing, revising and “giving flowers” to many of my favorite artists both local and global.
I was recently recognized by Grammy Award Winning Artist, Rapsody after I Remixed her 2023 album, ‘Please Don’t Cry’.
My Mantra: When in Doubt, Create has helped fuel my mission to make some of the best music of my life.


Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
As Previously stated, I’ve been recognized by Mainstream Artists and Local Artists alike as a top tier producer.
I was also a Finalist for the Loop Digga Sessions, a competition that ask producers to “Flip” records of obscure origin.
I’ve placed on Various Playlists on Streaming and Digital Services and recently released an album with longtime collaborator, Elle Monae called ‘Protean Tapes, Vol. I.
