We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy March and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Timothy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well for me, I can say its a decision you have to live by or die by. I have actually worked in many different fields. From sales, auto adjuster, I also currently have my 2-15 healthcare insurance license. What separated me from others is I started opening small businesses in my early 20s. For example, I created a cleaning service called “T & S Cleaning Service”. My business partner at the time, locked in a contract with the City Oakland Park. So we did residential and commercial. It began becoming too much for my business partner, so I decided to go in the food industry. I purchased a hot dog stand, which I haven’t ever used. Due to the fact I was so focused on landing this huge contract. I put in a year straight to focus on getting contracted to sell food inside of a call center. Which held over 300 people.. It was a wonderful experience i must say. Still hard to believe i landed it. I was the only hot food vendor there. But.. they changed locations. And to be honest the set up and break down everyday, at the new location.. was a bit much. So we terminated the contract and I went into a whole different form of creation.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Far as my creative side goes.. I have created my own Podcast called KultureTalkTV. We discuss all topics. Depends on the guest of the week. It took a lot of work to build an audience and to build a platform people are comfortable to come to and let loose. Its been 2yrs strong. I also have a Food Blogger channel called TheRealFoodAddicts954. There we do food reviews through out all of south Florida. This took a lot of work because “Everything” was always out of pocket. So now 4 years in, we get paid for reviews collaborations and etc. And lastly I have a Food drive company that I team up with my sponsors and we feed 300 families every other week. My goal is to lock in a forver deal, with FEMA. The biggest lesson I learned along the way, is believe in yourself. Have actual goals not just dreams. What I want the world to know about me is that I am Him! The God fearing GO GETTER that wont be stopped!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Soo. First thing first, getting some good eats. “Highrollerssushi2.0” for some fire hibachi!! If there in the mood for seafood then “Sister Sarah Fried Garlic Crab!! If there in the mood for bbq then “Dem Boyz BBQ”. If they have not seen the beach then we will walk the board walk and stop by “Roc Bar” for there delicious drinks. Put our feet in the water while the sun shines. Then that evening bring them to our downtown which is called Las Olas. You did say a week so let me go through the activities. I will take them on the Jungle Queen, which is a boat ride to a private island. I would take them to jet ski. I would take them to Brickell board walk. And if they wanted to party, I would take them to an exclusive club called Club Liv. Or they could just spend that week fully with me on my work schedule and have an experience money can’t buy! @Timtheofficial

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well first and most of all I give God all the recognition. I have been truly bless to have an amazing spouse at the time, Shannel. Who believed in every single idea I had. My mother Esther was a trooper because even though it was hard for her fully understand my dreams at the time. She encouraged me every step of the way, with wisdom and guidance. I also thank God, for the numerous of people he put in my life that I could learn so many talents and skills from. I have a huge network till this day and I have multiple people I have companies with. There is one person who I do want to shout out, and that is Minister Jamal. But to shout out certain people I would find unfair. Because I have had amazing mentors, elders and peers steering me in the direction of my greatness my entire life.
