We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Giachinta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, how do you think about risk?

If you risk nothing, you risk everything. Not making mistakes and learning from your losses means you’re not reaching high enough. For me, I’ve risked a lot especially in the last few years, with my business ventures and life decisions. I moved to Miami not knowing anyone in the area while leaving my day job and established clientele in New York. Coming from a small town, I was constantly looking to explore more to utilize my talents and creative energy. My passion for creating, networking and producing quality content is what led me to venture to Miami for more opportunities in video / marketing, to work with more people and grow my existing portfolio.

A main reason I love what I do is I get to work with people, athletes and brands that are just like me who are looking to grow and take risks to achieve more. My goal is to share the stories and visions of others through video content with a unique, captivating style. Highlighting those who are taking risks or have a dream that they’re chasing. I’ve met some incredibly motivated people since I’ve been in Miami and I’m excited to continue what I do in this special city. To me, the risk I took has been well worth it but now it’s time to continue to build and grow.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

G7 Productions is a video marketing agency that strategizes and produces high quality content through video production and post production with a mission to boost brands and careers to the next level.

I started the business back in my college house by making sports highlight tapes for athlete friends and as I continued to make more, I built a passion for creating stories by blending video and music to create engaging content. I started to think of how I can help more people inside and outside of sports to make this a legitimate business. So I began to incorporate this into the recruiting process for high school athletes and created a website on my own to streamline the video & data transfer with new clients, both athletes and parents. Once a process was formalized, clients began to come in from across the country by word of mouth and social media. To date, I’ve worked with 100+ high school athletes, many of which achieved scholarships from Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Harvard, Yale, and other top tier schools. A platform, brand and a community was formed allowing athletes and others to share, connect and grow together.

My goal for 2022 is to onboard new talent outside of virtual assistants. To train people in an innovative video editing process that has proven to bring strong value. Production has been a huge new focus for the business so capturing and creating content for more people in the Miami area is an exciting opportunity. While sports content has been the main focus since starting, I’ve begun work in real estate, branding videos, nightlife / entertainment, lifestyle, etc. I look forward to continuing to branch out with my well versed experience.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I’ve been enjoying the beaches at Virginia Key / Key Biscayne and spending nights out in Brickell and Wynwood. Moxie’s and Batch are places off the top of my mind that I enjoy for food and watching sports and the Wharf is always a good time to socialize and network with new people. The Heat are also having a great season this year so I recommend catching a game at FTX if you’re into basketball.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Most importantly is my family. My mother and father have been there for whenever I need them and have supported my decisions along the way. My father is also an entrepreneur along with my mother so to get their insight on a business level as well has been impactful. My three brothers have always had an important role in my life with my oldest brother being a strong role model as an Army Ranger. Growing up with them was special to have and we continue to push each other to succeed in life. I’ve also had many life mentors and close friends that continue to support my journey and business ventures. I express my appreciation to them often and I’m very fortunate to have the support system that I’ve had to contribute to my success so far.
