Meet Vaiah | Singer/Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vaiah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vaiah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would say the most important factor behind success is to always have a clear goal. I personally like to focus on small goals that can be achieved in a shorter period of time instead of focusing so much on the end goal. When we have all of our energy or focus on a big goal, sometimes we can get unmotivated when we don’t see it coming to fruition quickly, and that can have an impact on us. Instead, I like to keep my attention on a small objective that I know is taking me closer to making my dreams a reality and I make sure I give it my all.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a singer/songwriter born and raised in Venezuela who always had one dream; music. Ever since I can remember, I dreamed about becoming a professional singer and dedicating my life to it. The journey has not been easy, I moved to the US when I was only 17 to pursue that dream. Life took me into many different paths, but I always found myself going back to music. I believe my essence, light, and spirit are what differentiates me from the rest. I am not a singer who wants to be stuck in one genre. If you listen to my music, you will be able to find a little bit of everything (R&B, Pop, Rock, Dance, Reggaeton) and I think thats what sets me apart.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is full with so many places to enjoy!!! My first spot would be Wynwood. I think its the best place whether it is to chill at a nice bar, have some amazing food, enjoy some art, or even go dancing!

I would also take them to the beach. I personally love Dania Beach. I think it’s a relaxing spot to disconnect. Or go to Miami Beach if they want to experience a more authentic Miami vacation.

One of my favorite things to do lately has been taking Sunrise Yoga Classes at the beach. It is very easy to connect with nature in Miami, this city has so much to offer and I’d love for them to experience the beauty of it all.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am extremely grateful for all the people that have helped me along the way to make every goal possible; that is producers, songwriters, videographers, and photographers who have been a part of my journey. It would have not been able to be done without them. This is a career that takes a whole team and a lot of these people are very close friends of mine, so I am truly grateful for each and every single one of them.
