Hi Valerie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I didn’t want to work anymore. Not for others and just for me to have more time for my music & my mental head space. Work took up my whole day then driving back & forth & dealing with others, it just drained me. I used my last check to buy a box of inventory risking it all and I flipped it. Once I knew I held the power and I can grow this into something bigger I did just that !

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an artist & entrepreneur. At first it was extremely difficult because I left my friends and family behind to purse my musical dreams and my family didn’t support that. I was alone & im still alone. They support me now but that’s after I had to prove to them I can be successful. They didn’t support me not having a regular fixed job. I told them life had more to offer, I went out and seeked out everything & God brought it to me. I believe so much in him standing behind every move I do. I believed so much in myself because I had no other choice & he’s given me the confidence to do this in the moments I thought I couldn’t. I pray a lot! I love God. My first time on the radio, my first show, my first time on tv & meeting Beyonce so many things combined I’m like “how can I not win? I’m making dreams happen, things I never though I could do, I’m doing it! While doing everything I was doing I was going broke I had to fund myself I pay for my studio sessions, outfits, hair etc. Work was taking up my time like my 9-5 so I utilized my social media and network and I marketed my items to them & they supported me ! Allthatco began and grew! Without my friends, fans and followers I wouldn’t have any sales. Then I learned how to make social media pay me ! Allthatco isn’t just a clothing brand I want to make it even bigger and get into hair and make up! People ask me to post ads & I also get paid as an influencer. I also started a rental car business & I rent those out under my business name, All That Company LLC. I run me I make the decisions, I’m my own boss & I pay me ! I came from the bottom with nothing risking and betting on myself ! I want to be that light & inspiration to the world to remind people to push for & follow their dreams no matter how lonely, hard or long it takes !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Everywhere. I’m a socialite in this city. 1st I’m taking them out to eat I love nice restaurants like Komodo, Mila, Carbones, Papi Steak, etc to name a few of my favs. Then we’re going to the club, which one ? All of them. We can start on Thursday & we gotta go to LIV. And we’re not going to sleep we’re going to the strip club until 8am & doing it again the next day. During the week or weekend we going on a boat & we’re going on jet skis. I like a chill Beach day too, I live Infront of the beach so we are going lol Ask all my bestfriend they’ve partied with me. I take them everywhere in the city they be so tired with me! Haha

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There was a man I onced worked with and he believed in me as much as I did. The support I had from him opened many doors for me to do things on my own & he encouraged me to be my own boss because success and entrepreneurship was always on my mind. While my family thought it was crazy to quit my job and take this risk he reminded me that I can & that’s good to bet on yourself !
