We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, what’s the most important think you’ve done for your children?
Definitely showing them the power of entrepreneurship and of being your own boss. I want to teach them to invest early and often (preferably in real estate)

What should our readers know about your business?
I think what sets me apart from other is that I just don’t stop. I have a very disciplined approach to my business where I do the same tasks every day. It sounds boring but it’s consistent and the consistency is what has been the secret recipe to my success. The lesson I’ve learned along the way is that no transaction or client is worth losing your peace over. It’s business not emotional. I definitely want the world to know that Im a realtor with heart. The best part of my job is the stories that each transaction tells from marriages, to moving cities, to sometimes even divorces and grief.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wynwood: Le Chick Gables: Hillstone’s The Falls area: Samurai Cutler Bay: Puro Sazon
