Meet Victor Arias | Producer & DJ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Arias and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victor, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is without a doubt my friends and family and everyone else who supports me. It gives me that extra push that I need to always keep working as hard as I can, and to never give up on what I truly want.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since I was very young, music has always been running through my veins. It has been my escape, and my passion for as long as I can remember. I started producing music and DJing when I was 14 years old after I was fascinated from watching the Ultra Music Festival from 2014. I remember watching the livestream and thinking to myself “Wow this is so cool, I want to do it too”. After showing my mom what I had been watching, she encouraged me to learn music production so I can create my own songs. She noticed how serious I was when I told her I would love to make a career out of that, and that is when she bought me my first music software. “Logic Pro X”, and from there, the rest is history. I watched countless videos online on how to use the program, until I was finally comfortable enough with it to start putting all the ideas I had in my head into the computer. Without a doubt it was challenging at first, but with dedication I improved as time went by. The beautiful thing about music production is that even though I have been doing this for a little over 6 years, I am still learning every day. Considering that I’ve been playing the piano since I was 5 years old, something that I really try to stand out on are my melodies in my songs. I have always tried to create catchy melodies and chords that will capture the attention of whoever is listening. Something else that I take pride on is my lyrics. Aside from the production, I love to write my own lyrics and give a powerful message to whoever listens to them. Last but not least, something I would want the world to know about me, is that I am always willing to work with people that are passionate about music like me. Whether it is other producers singers, or musicians in general, I am always willing to collaborate and create something great in any genre of music.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I live in Miami so definitely the beach and the areas around there is where I would take my best friend, or anyone in general who isn’t from here. It is a guaranteed good time at Miami Beach with all the places you can go to for food, music etc. It is even cool to just walk around and simply spend time with friends and family while feeling the breeze and warm temperature.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is so many people that I would dedicate my shoutout to, but the main one would be my mom. She has always supported me throughout my music journey and has always made me feel like I can one day accomplish my dreams. I honestly don’t know where I would be without her always reminding me that I can do anything I work hard for. Other people that deserve credit would be the rest of my family, my girlfriend, and other people that do the same thing as me, for example my friend Royce. Considering we both have the same dream, we have always supported each others tracks, videos, etc. We have even collaborated on a few songs that will be out very soon.
