Hi Viktoriia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
“What inspired you to start your own business?”
The idea of starting my own business came to me when I began to realize that I wanted to do something that truly brought me fulfillment and inspiration. I’ve always been passionate about beauty, aesthetics, and creativity, and over time, I realized that I could not only grow in this field but also help others feel better and more confident.

I was inspired by the thought of having the freedom to make my own decisions, the ability to bring my ideas to life, and the opportunity to create something unique. Another factor was my inner drive for growth—I realized I wanted to go beyond the standard opportunities offered by traditional employment or other formats.

Additionally, I noticed a clear demand in the market for hair health and restoration, which is such an important part of confidence and satisfaction. Unfortunately, many people don’t know how to properly care for their hair—from the scalp to the ends. I love helping with this by providing consultations and restoring even the most challenging cases. My approach is always personalized, which is crucial for delivering quality services. I also strive to create an atmosphere of comfort and coziness during my treatments. I wanted to build a business that would meet these needs. My goal wasn’t just to make money but also to contribute to the development of the industry and build long-term relationships with my clients.

I’m now planning to explore a new area for myself—esthetic cosmetology. This is a new step and a new chapter in my life, and I’d like to share why I’ve chosen this field.

As I mentioned earlier, I adore beauty and aesthetics. I want to promote the culture of health and self-care and help people feel more confident and happy. About five years ago, my journey in the beauty industry started with working on the face—I did brow shaping for several years. Later, I fell in love with hair care and began to grow in that direction, which I continue to do to this day. I absolutely love my work! Now, I want to return to working with the face and develop myself in the field of esthetic cosmetology. I feel I’ve chosen the right path for me. I want to bring even more value, health, happiness, and love to the world!

In conclusion, I’d like to say that the support of those around me played a significant role, as well as my confidence that, despite the challenges, I could succeed—because this was a step toward my dream.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Everyone is unique, and I’ve always believed that our differences are our strength. What sets me apart is my determination and unwavering belief that challenges exist to make us stronger. I’m not afraid of difficulties and always try to find opportunities, even in the most unexpected places. After immigrating to America, I started life from scratch. But instead of fearing the unknown, I felt inspired. It was my chance to prove to myself that I could achieve my dreams.

Today, I am proud of everything I’ve accomplished in my business. Starting with almost nothing, I’ve been able to build something meaningful that not only benefits my clients but also allows me to do what I love. My work isn’t just about providing a service—it’s about contributing to the confidence and happiness of the people I work with. Every success I’ve had is the result of hard work, self-belief, and the unwavering support of my loved ones.

However, the journey hasn’t been easy. Immigration brought many challenges—a new language, a new culture, and navigating unfamiliar systems. There were moments when I felt like giving up, but I always reminded myself why I started. Believing in myself and staying focused on my goals kept me moving forward.

Now, despite what I’ve achieved, I know there’s still so much more ahead. I have big plans, ideas, and ambitions, but I also understand there will be more obstacles to overcome. I am ready to work hard, grow, and evolve because it’s not just about achieving my own goals—it’s about showing others that it’s possible.

The most important lesson I’ve learned along the way is that everything is truly in our hands. We create our own reality, and it’s up to us to decide whether to stop in the face of obstacles or find a way to overcome them. I want everyone who reads my story to understand that they should never give up. Challenges are temporary, but faith in yourself and consistent effort can change everything. My dream is to inspire others to pursue their goals no matter what and to remember that the road to success always starts with the first step.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami is a city that never ceases to amaze with its vibrant atmosphere, energy, and diversity. If a friend came to visit me for a week, I would do my best to show them the very best the city has to offer, making their trip truly unforgettable.

We’d definitely start with South Beach — the iconic beach where you can enjoy the ocean, white sand, and a laid-back vibe. After the beach, we’d take a stroll along Ocean Drive to soak up the Miami spirit, admire the art deco architecture, and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the oceanfront restaurants. The perfect way to end the evening would be at a stylish rooftop bar like Sugar Rooftop Bar in downtown Miami, offering breathtaking sunset views.

Of course, I’d also show them other beaches. For instance, Key Biscayne, with its tranquil atmosphere and crystal-clear waters, is an ideal spot for relaxation. To add a touch of luxury, we’d rent a yacht and go on a short trip around Biscayne Bay, perhaps even stopping by Star Island to glimpse where the celebrities live.

Another must-see spot is Wynwood Walls. This street art district is bursting with creativity, and it’s the perfect place to take dozens of vibrant photos. After that, we could visit the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) if my friend enjoys contemporary art. For a cultural contrast, I’d take them to Little Havana, a neighborhood full of unique charm where they could try authentic Cuban cuisine and enjoy live music at Ball & Chain.

And, of course, I wouldn’t skip shopping! Brickell City Centre is an excellent place for that, offering not only great stores but also the chic, modern vibe of Miami.

Overall, Miami is a city that truly has it all — from luxury and nature to culture and art. I always strive to make sure my guests experience its many facets and leave with unforgettable memories!

The key to my success lies in the support and love of my family. Their faith in me has helped me overcome challenges and keep moving forward, even in the most difficult moments. My family is my main source of strength and inspiration. They have always been there for me, sharing my dreams and celebrating my victories, no matter how small. Thanks to their love and encouragement, I feel that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

Another important part of my journey has been books. They have been my mentors and a source of knowledge, helping me grow both professionally and personally. Books taught me to view the world from different perspectives, believe in myself, and strive for more. I want to dedicate this interview to my family, who have always been my foundation, and to all the authors whose works have inspired me along the way.
