We had the good fortune of connecting with Viktoriya Ho and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Viktoriya, what is the most important factor behind your success?
From very childhood I was always a very empathetic person. I didn’t know what empathetic even meant then: all I was driven by is the wish to help, to make a difference, see someone happy, see someone smile. If they smiled because of me that would make me so happy. Every time on New Years Eve everyone get a chance to make a wish at 12 am and I remember, being very little 5-6 years old, my only wish then and still now in New Year’s Eve ( it Was and still very magical time in Russia) was a peace on earth: no wars, no killing, no hungry kids, no abandoned kids- those were my wishes and it never changed since then and forever will be my only wish. I think empathy, connection with people, no matter their background, status, all these made me a kind and trustworthy person. These qualities I am proud to have and these qualities are my foundation of success and progress, I do make my priorities to help and benefit others, whenever and wherever I can. It happened I chose a career in real estate, and I think it’s the best and most direct way to help others to fulfill their dreams of having a home- a place where my clients make memories and spend the best times of their lifes with families and friends. That’s my goal. Make people happy. Once you have right motivation everything just falls in place organically. It’s not about money or other material things, it’s about connection, right motivation and best results always follow. I would never accomplished what I accomplished if it’s not for that.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Daro Team at Compass is a team of diverse group of individuals and our goal is to go above and beyond to serve our clients. We connect with every client, we build friendship 99% of the time, we learn about their needs and goals, their priorities and preferences. It’s not just a real estate transaction for us- it’s a goal to make our friends happy and accomplish their dreams. Is there any better reward than seeing your friends happy?? No. Because if your friends are happy it makes us feel the happiest!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely I would feed them good meals at the restaurants, there are plenty of amazing restaurants all over miami. It’s hard to get disappointed with fine dining in Miami. I can start telling you about every restaurant in miami but it will have to be another separate article. I think miami sells itself with perfect weather, beautiful beaches, parks, healthy lifestyle, variety of cultures and nationalities. This city is a point of union, connectednesses, opportunities, friendship, oneness. It’s just a happy city. You don’t show it, you can only feel it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Luckily, I have so many people I am surrounded with who are my inspiration and motivation.First if all, Of course it’s my family, my kids who thought me so many things, who made me a better person, who showed me how beautiful and simple life is and how to enjoy it and make it meaningful. Nothing like unconditional life can make you conquer the mountains. Secondly, it’s my friends… those who were there for me through the worst times, who never gave up on me and who taught me never give up. Those who became my extended family and showed me love, care, support. I absorbed their love, kindness and I wanted to spread it further to others. To give it forward. For this I will be forever grateful.
Another group I am very thankful for is my business partners. The team we have now, my mentor Andy Rotondaro and his family and my colleague Andrea Arcuri and his family, for being the source of knowledge and ambitions, who I alway can rely on and who make me feel safe and protected no matter what. Their humility, kindness, inspiration has been a very big push in my career. It’s not easy to be a part of the team and work with other people 24/7 some people would say, but these guys makes everything so easy and fun, they are humble, kind, smart, driven and 100% supportive. I could only dream of being part of this team. At the end of the day I believe good people attract good people and do unimaginable in a beat way!
