We had the good fortune of connecting with Wolkenzye Pascal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wolkenzye, what do you want people to remember about you?
I would love to be remembered as a woman who used all of her struggles to not only better herself, but also those around. Someone willing to share her life with anyone she crosses path with to help them become better. Someone who is not afraid to share her truth. Someone who allowed her life to speak louder than the words she could utter. Someone who is a world changer and who impacted many lives, expecting nothing in return. Someone who chose to be the voice for many and is not afraid to stand up for what is right.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am committed to empowering, edifying, and motivating women of all ages to a place of wholeness. My goal is to continue to utilize my experiences as a tool to inspire others to walk in their purpose. I founded The Masterspiece in hope that by sharing the things I have gone through, I can aid another woman to not allow her past to keep her from moving forward. We are all a masterpiece in the making. every pain and scars are a part of what makes us unique. I became an author so I can share my story. I want women to know that they are more than they give themselves credit for. I became a mentor in order to guide as many as I can into the greatest. I started a podcast, to bring hope to those who may feel hopeless.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Interestingly enough my two best friends enjoy just about the same things that I do. We all love to eat, so I would find out a couple of great places that we can go visit and eat. We also love music, so finding a restaurant with a live band would be the icing on the cake. We enjoy being able to go for a great massage where we can relax, get our nails done, enjoy some ice cream, a mimosa, and just enjoy a great laugh. Anything that includes having a great laugh and relaxing would be ideal.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shout out first and foremost to my loving and supporting husband Webb Pascal. I have yet to go to him about any ideas I have had, for him to tell me I cannot do it. There have been many times I wanted to quit, but he believed in me enough to not allow me to give up. I also want to give a shout out to my mentees, they have always been there to encourage me to do for others what I have done for them. Their gratitude and constant reminder of how I have influenced their lives for the better is a constant reminder for me that I am more than I give myself credit for. Also, the prayers of my church family ‘Refuge in the Valley Church”. I am all able to do the things I do, due to a praying body.
