Hi Yanique, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business is to make women feel sexy and comfortable within their body especially women who are mothers.I wanted to do something that I would love and enjoy doing , something that I myself wears and brand.

What should our readers know about your business?
H.E.R by Yanique is a seamless shape wear brand that is designed mostly for women. It is a tummy control that targets the lower abdomen and that allows you to get that seamless look .I am excited when my clients are in love and that they do see the difference with and without the shape wear.I started having plans and thoughts about this shape wear line a little over 2 years after my last child . It was not easy ,many times there are challenges and troubles but with the support of my family and friends I have overcome a lot. A major lesson so far to myself and other new business owners coming up is that friends and money don t work together , it will break you . My shape wears and products are designed and hand picked for perfection it will boost your confidence and help your self esteem.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite spots in Miami to visit is the Rusty Pelican , the ambiance is very beautiful especially at sunset and night , the food is delicious and it is always just an amazing experience visiting there. Miami is also popular for beaches and wynwood is also an amazing area to visit .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly for a shout out it would be my dear friend Rodana , she listened attentively to my thoughts and ideas, she was also the very first person I called when I received my first shape wear sample.
