Meet Yarahid Urrea | Makeup Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yarahid Urrea and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yarahid, why did you pursue a creative career?
Since I was a child I have had tendencies towards art, I wanted to get out of the ordinary and express what I am and what I feel through makeup. I do not see makeup as a job, it is a passion, since it allows me to transform myself, to show beauty in many ways.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We Latinas are very flirtatious, so growing up I used to see my mother and grandmother use beauty products to enhance their natural beauty. That is why, from a very young age, I tried to take good care of myself, both inside and out.
That is why I am interested in makeup, I studied with different artists and I practiced on my friends.
I am excited to be able to create content for my social networks, I see my evolution in each job I do, in each client I serve, I am satisfied with how far I have come, since it has not been easy.
I have learned that perseverance, perseverance and faith in God help us continue.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Mainly, I thank God the father for allowing me these gifts, allowing me to be healthy and to be able to do what I like the most.
