We had the good fortune of connecting with Zebulon Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zebulon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
These are the key factors that I contribute all my success in life to: My commitment to constant never ending improvement. I have become super succesfull because I am always growing and learning to adapt to everything I face. I obsess over whatever it is I MUST have in my life until I find it or achieve it. Most importantly, I surround myself with only the people who condition me for greatness.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is a constant moving target, so let me start here. I have become one of the nation’s top Commercial Videographers and Glidecam Master Operators, but how I got to this point took a lot of hard work and the right people. I have always dreamed of becoming the best at something and over the course of my life I began to obsess over this goal so much that I ended up becoming a master of my skills. I felt lost for a long time growing up. I constantly found myself adapting to my environments. I have experienced unbelievable struggles including escaping a kidnapping at the age of 12 when I was out riding my bike and was taken. All of these experiences conditioned me and taught me to survive, make a difference and become the best version of myself I can become. I became an entrepreneur when I was living on my own at the age of 16. I had to make money and I wanted to become successful. I would watch infomercials and read books on how to become business savvy. I found books from Tony Robbins and learned strategies on how to create a better life for myself through personal development. I took that and started to find ways to add massive value to others and that’s what allowed me to create and find opportunities that made me successful. Today my work has impacted the commercial industry driving brand exposure to new levels. I have been called upon by businesses big and small to maximize their success. I have had the privilege to work with some of the world’s most recognized brands and businesses giving me access to more resources and bigger opportunities. I share this because to know more about my business, you need to know what drives it. Diving deep on this might wake something up inside you that will slingshot you closer to your goals, business endeavors and find more purpose through your life experiences. Keep your life and your business open to change, because your next opportunity might require a major shift away from what you have built, that’s the next level. I have found myself there many times and now I’m with my dream team working along side my idols. My success comes from two key principles, always add massive value and focus on creating.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t have a particular place other than enjoying whatever is going on around the city. There is so much to enjoy around the city and there is always somewhere special to enjoy if you just get out there and enjoy the journey.
