Perspectives on work life balance

The Coronavirus has given many us an opportunity to pause and think about life, our purpose, and even the right work life balance. What’s your perspective and has it changed over time?
Honestly, my work IS my life. I have a 9-5, and anytime in not at work, I’m working on my makeup business. My availability is all times of the day outside of my 9-5, so if a client needs their makeup done at 2 in the morning, I will be up and ready with my brushes and ring light. Read more>>

Well I think we live in a world where working is far more important than resting! I try to create balance by reminding myself to meditate, take long walks and listen to podcasts, read, write in a journal and practice yoga, boxing or soccer. It’s extremely easy to get consumed by work but I know if I don’t take time to reset and find balance in myself, I won’t be able to find balance in my interior design projects.
