We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebekah Aparicio and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rebekah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It’s really simple for me.. to be a blessing in other people’s lives. I feel like I’ve been blessed with a creative knack and I just love food and people!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So I actually work in corporate america full time and in between time I run my business and a household. Starting a business is hard, so you gotta do what you gotta do. I’ve learned not to give up, to keep going but also be honest and set realistic goals. I’d like for my company to be known for its integrity, honesty (no matter what) and to support women. I’ve also learned that there are fierce company’s that see you as a threat and will do anything to try to bring you down but our faith, honesty and integrity set us apart. We are all out here trying to survive in this world so do it with passion, help others and blessings will always be there. ✌
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmmm wow ok this is a hard question for me because I am a homebody. I’d definitely have them over for a home cooked meal (boring I know but delicious). We would probably take a stroll on the beach and stop for a slice (or a pie) of pizza and a soft serve ice cream (a must!). One of my favorite restaurants is The Boatyard in Fort Lauderdale so we’d do brunch there because it’s a whole vibe! If I feel like going out problem would go to the Rooftop at The Delmar. And let’s face it after 4 days I’m over it. I have a business to run 😂😂
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most importantly my friends and family!! My 2 beautiful daughters support and help me whenever they can. Always trying to take photos, make videos, try recipes with me and just loving on me. My fiance Brian with his love and support. He’s always there to help me push (even when he doesn’t want to) oh an he’s my #1 taste tester, and that’s super important!
