Natalya Lowe | Makeup Artist

Being a makeup artist involves using a variety of tools, techniques, and products to enhance or transform a person’s appearance through the application of makeup. I have always had an eye for color, texture, and composition, as well as the ability to envision a particular look or style and bring it to life through my work. I love the art I use in makeup to enhance a person’s natural features, create illusions, and transform their appearance to suit a particular theme, mood, or character. Read more>>

Demetrius Conley | Drummer & Musician

Ever since I was 11 years old, I listened to a lot of rock music. I listen to bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Green Day, 3 Doors Down, Nirvana, Linkin Park, & Daughtry. Everytime I turn on the TV to watch a rock music video of this song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers called “Dani California” I see that there was a guy in the back playing the drums, it gave me a brilliant idea. My mind was saying “I want to do whatever he’s doing.” Read more>>

Omavi Waite | Writer/poet

Well, I always told people that writing / poetry came to me, I didn’t necessarily pursue it. From one poem to the next, I always felt the writings come to me, like it was my soul speaking through me. Professional wise I decided to put all of my poems into a book, and from one book to the next, I decided to become an author of poetry and pursue that as my creative career. Read more>>

David Zilmer | Musician/music teacher/producer/band leader/community organizer

I chose to pursue a career in arts/music/entertainment because it was a reflection of my personal life.being that creating was something I was doing almost subconsciously on a day to day basis without giving it the label of “creation” I just thought this is what people do.Shortly I found myself trying to enter into the traditional workforce masquerading as an electrician apprentice,ax throwing, food running, jet ski rentals, basically every job you could think of,but yet in every spare moment I had, Read more>>

Regine Jillea Dawson | Creative, Owner of Hovsewife

I pursued a creative career because life is too short to do anything else. I remember when I was younger, the first time I watched the “Pon De Replay” video with Rihanna. I remember when she released Umbrella. I also remember when she continued to release albums consecutively year after year. And then, I see where she is now. She’s the artist that taught me there is something spectacular about a “stick-with-it-ness”. In the end, it all pays off, literally. Read more>>

Maicol Osorio | Headshot, Branding, and Portrait Photographer – Confidence and Expression Coach

What I love about what Peter has helped me create is that I can immediately connect with people. When I speak with them about their headshots, I can engage them and make them feel at ease. Though I love when they see their images and say wow, that’s me when they love their image, which provides me with fuel to keep moving forward. Read more>>
