I was born and raised in Jamaica, and at the age of 17, I emigrated to the United States to reunite with my mom & biggest cheerleader. Growing up, my mom used to share stories of my childhood, and it was evident that my interests leaned towards medical TV shows, with “Babies: Special Delivery” being one of my favorites. I am originally from a small town (about 5000 residents) named Bojnice in Slovakia, Central Europe. I spent the summers in Miami when I was 19 and 20, and I permanently relocated when I was almost 22 years old. Growing up in Slovakia was always full of strict rules within my family and the Catholic school I attended. My work experience started at an early age, working in a local ZOO in one of the restaurants. I always had a strong work ethic, and when I moved to the United States, I realized I needed to work much harder, learn the Spanish language, and adapt to the Latin-influenced and now New York-influenced society. I grew up in Lewes, Delaware. My Dad was self employed and owned his own business. Due to his hard work, my mom was able to be a stay home mom to me and my brother.
