Hi Beyonce, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Have you ever applied lip gloss and moments later noticed that there was white residue on your lips? Or have you ever notice it on someone else’s lips? …Well I have and that’s why I was enthused to start my business, GlossyBey..

My goal was to focus on clean, natural, healing products because most usually contain chemicals that may harm us in the future. Each product is handmade with love. Each product is made specifically to heal; whether it’s dead skin, lip burns, white residue or blisters.

Many don’t know that the lips are the most sensitive part of the body and so therefore it’s important to protect them and this is where I come in.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

As a young entrepreneur just starting out in my business I’ve faced many challenges and I can’t help but feel also that I’ve lost out on some opportunities too. It’s been a difficult journey and often times I’ve felt very alone. But with the support of my loved ones, I’ve been able to overcome and keep forward.

What sets me apart from others would be my diligence towards my business. When creating this lip-care line, I had nothing but the intentions of healing. Many common brands that we use contain chemicals that are often harmful and harsh to the body, some even causing cancer if used long-term. Many consumers aren’t aware of that and with GlossyBey I intend to educate, while healing. Making products, specific to one’s skin type and concerns. Our lips are the most sensitve part of our body, we must protect them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
PlugIn Karaoke Is the best place thus far. The luxury of renting your own room out to have your own intimate group of friends singing their hearts out and having a good time. I’d highly recommend !

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are several people I’d like to give this shoutout to. For starters, I would love to give thanks to my mother, Louby, and my sister, Destiny for always encouraging me to be my best self. Giving me the confidence I need to muster up my talents and create my own line of restorative cosmetics.
