We had the good fortune of connecting with Montrey Howard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Montrey, how does your business help the community?
Petersburg Solution is a platform created out of the need for more positive representation of the City of Petersburg along with concrete solutions to be offered. The mission is to encourage civic participation to grow the Cockade City economically to enhance the quality of life and to help provide a better portrayal of the city. After forming in March of 2019 with over a year of engaging with the community, Petersburg Solution has poised itself to be able to be a reputable community incubator for promoting sound policy to aid in making Petersburg a viable player in our regional economy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a different approach to activism. I offer ideas that can improve the city and jump into initiatives that fill in the city’s gaps.

My vision for Petersburg Solution was born out of a desire to combat the negative news about my hometown

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Historical Old Towne Petersburg is where most of the activities and shops are located. My favorite restaurants
