We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Salomon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business near the end of covid when it was popular to start a side hustle to have more income and become free from the workforce responsibility and 9-5.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am excited for the future! I wouldn’t have never thought that I would make it this far in my journey as a creative. I used to think I wasn’t creative enough and my vision or eye for detail wasn’t great compare to those that have already made it. My struggle was comparison to others and their creativity. I learned that everyone has their own style and creativity and it takes patience to build a vision and it takes a lot more patience to see the results that you hope foe in the end.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a long week trip through Miami, I would start with brunch at Chicken and the egg, then head over to Perez Art Museum and Rubell Museum for some creative inspiration. For lunch I would head over to Mr fries man in Pembroke Pines, and to end the night at Lola bar at bayside for a drink to wrap up the night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my good friend, Crystal, who help me get started in the photography business after a few conversations I purchased my first camera and took to the streets. While I was in college (University of Miami) I had a class that required me to push beyond my creative boundaries to think outside the box and my finally my partner, Rashad, who continues to motivate me when things get tough and keep going.
