Memento mori, which is Latin for “remember that you have to die.” If first came across this idea in Ryan Holidays’ book, Obstacle is the way and is something I always remind myself. While some people might think it is depressing, I have come to find it to be quite the opposite. Remembering that you could die at any moment helps keep you living life to its fullest and staying in the present. More importantly, it reminds me that I have so much that I want to do in life (personal and business), and now is the best time to do it! With the current state of the world, this quote has helped me keep the focus on what is essential in my life.
