We had the good fortune of connecting with Kat Moreno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kat, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The process behind starting my own business was that I learned so much from all of the mentors about sales, scaling.and marketing. When I saw all the success our clients were making I decided that I couldn’t work for anybody else anymore and I had what it takes to build my own dream.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of my newest vending business venture, which is exploding all over Miami. How I got here today was through my hustling spirit: I had no connections, no money or resources. It was a struggle, but I knew that if another person could be successful, so could I. I learned to take full responsibility for everything that happened in my life. I learned from the best and kept getting my foot into doors. My story now is that if someone like me can make it, you can too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is a beautiful place. We’d start with a spa day at he Standard Spa the beach. Then head to Brunch at the Setai. That has An incredible spread with gorgeous views and top notchpeople watching. Next wed take the city bikes and ride 14 miles on the beach boardwalk to see all the behind the scenes of Miami Beach. Next up of course we enjoy the beach! My favorite spot is usually 81st and Collins. After the beach, we head to Astra in Wynwoodfor cocktails and a seafood tower. And finally we close out the night with karaoke at one of my favorites dive bars, Better Days.
