We had the good fortune of connecting with Lawanda Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lawanda, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued an artistic or creative career because I wanted to follow my God given passion and not the fortune.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others, is that, my gift as an artist / hairstylist is a unique gift from God. Which I am most proud of and excited about because although I went to cosmetology school, my ability to be creative and style hair is a passion that I’m hyped about.

My consistency and faith has gotten me to where I am today professionally. It was not easy? Life was handing me lemons at times but I learned home to make lemonade, pray and press on, regardless of trails.

And through it all I learned some very valuable lessons along the way. Which is why the world needs to understand that my brand represents my faith and endurance.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had to pick a place to eat with best friend, it will be Kaluz’s the food is great and reasonable. To hang out somewhere it will be Brickell City Center, Gulfstream or Davie Point because it’s a lot to do there.
