We had the good fortune of connecting with Dorian Gayle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dorian, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
My business has taught me many lessons. One of those is to keep God first . Sometimes I have lost my self along my journey usually it’s because my relationship with God is not prioritized. Balancing building great morals while learning, healing and moving from past decisions is not easy.God is my main source of strength.Comedy and Entertainment is my gift but God is the gift giver. It’s very important to be yourself, the earlier you know who you are the easier it is to attract people who are just like you. This journey of success that I’m on has showed me who I really am including the good, the bad and the ugly. Honesty is also extremely important because as an entrepreneur sometimes people will think that you have everything together, when really you don’t. It’s okay to accept where you are at in life as long as you are working towards better for yourself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My story hasn’t been easy but it’s been necessary. A lot is required but discipline is the most required along the journey that I have learned to have. Without having discipline it is harder to find success. I’m someone who doesn’t take life for granted and knowing that at any time life can throw challenges at you keeps me going. I’ve made enough mistakes on my life and if I can prevent future mistakes I will.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I travel as much as I can so I’ve been to many places. I will list some of my favorite Florida spots. I love going to the Orlando Improv, it’s is one of favorite spots to see new and original comedians. I’ve built great relationships with friends hanging out there. Orlando Improv also host birthday parties and catering events as well per booking fee. Andretti’s Indoor Theme Park is a great place for the entire family to have fun especially if your in the city touring. The Florida Mall is a important place to visit when you are in Central Florida looking for some new items to purchase. Cheesecake Factory is always a great spot to go to.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Aujo Johnson and Darrion Parker Anthony Shim, Chris Alexis and Joshua Soto.
These are some of the people that have motivated me to do better in life from a personal and a business perspective. Having a great family and team in your life will always help you be the best version of yourself.
