Meet Brittney Coke | Fashion and Shoe Designer | Beautician | Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Coke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always wanted to be a fashion designer and intended on pursuing a degree in Fashion Design. I then decided to pursue a degree in Business Management instead because I felt like it would allow me the option to be an entrepreneur as well as pursue a career in corporate America as well. I then completed my masters degree and I currently work as a Human Resource Professional. While I enjoy working in Corporate America nothing is more fulfilling like what I do as a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle creative.

Since I got started as a blogger back in 2017, I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life. I was selected as an official delegate for the 2019 Miss Florida USA pageant. I am the Ms. Treasure Coast Title holder and I competed in the Ms. Florida pageant. Most recently I was selected to compete in the Ms. World Pageant as the Ms. Petite Florida contestant.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wear many hats in the fashion and beauty world. I am the owner of Classify Beauty a one stop to fashion and beauty through products services and insignt. We offer products like clothing, shoes, cosmetics, wigs, and press on nails. We offer services like wardrobe styling, hairstyling, and makeup application for special occasions. I am everything behind my brand: the fashion and shoe designer, the stylist, the beautician, the curator, the blogger, the vlogger, and much more. I am also a fashion and beauty content creator and influencer. I’ve partnered with a variety of brands to cultivate quality content. What sets me apart is the quality and innovative content I continue to produce. I am most proud of how I’ve been able to balance it all. From mom, wife, and family life to a career driven woman, to participating in pageants to being a entrepreneur, to being a content creator who continues to inspire other women not to limit themselves and their talents. I’ve always been career oriented and my career as a Human Resource Professional makes it no different. In addition to my 9-5 and my fashion and beauty brand I am in the Startup process of a Career and Business Firm: Cab Firm offering a variety of career, business, and hr services. It has not always been easy. Finding balance has been challenging. I must say sometimes I do get discouraged but I always remember my why’s and seeing how proud and supportive my family is of me has been the best motivation. I’ve also been super supportive of everyone and sometimes it’s not alway reciprocated but I don’t let that stop me from showing love and support to others. I’ve been blessed and continue to be blessed because of it and plus when you love what you do validation is the least of what you look for in return. The enjoyment, fulfillment, and the people I continue to inspire and uplift is priceless. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is that opportunities doesn’t always come knocking at your door, sometimes you have to create your own opportunities and if there isn’t room at the table for you, build your own table. I want everyone to know that I am very passionate about what I do and any and everything I do I put my all into it. My brand was created to inspire other women to discover their beauty through fashion, beauty, and lifestyle and I am proud to say that.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
These days I’ve been enjoying the Tradition area. It is filled with restaurants, festivals, shopping, day and nightlife, and other festivities. It doesn’t require much planning. We can simply park and just scout things to do throughout the day. Waterfront restaurants are always a vibe for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. All the shopping spots the girlies love are in close vicinity. In addition, if we just want to take a walk down the strip and stop at a food truck we can do that too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family both immediate and extended has been my support system through it all. They motivate and push me to do and be better. Shout out to them.
