We had the good fortune of connecting with Simone Alicia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Simone, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is that everything truly begins with you! Success begins with you. Happiness begins with you. Helping others, begins with you.

As I have studied, evolved, and lived by the rules of my own teachings, I have seen undisputable evidence that we are at the core of all of our outcomes. From every angle we can consider, mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical, we truly attract experiences and results based on who we are inside….and who we’re focused on becoming.

What should our readers know about your business?
My journey is an exciting tale of twists and turns filled with powerful lessons, unexpected surprises and undeniable growth. Some moments were so Divinely aligned that they felt easy and smooth, other moments were sprinkled with confusion and uncertainty. Altogether, it’s a beautiful story of triumph, which is continuously unfolding.

I began as an elementary school teacher and fashion model, and as different as those industries are, the first surprise came when I realized that I was using mindset tools in both of those settings. “Are you encouraging yourself?” “I can see what you’re thinking!” “Come on, believe that you can do this!”

My words echoed on repeat everywhere I went and everywhere I taught. It was in me, and it was ready to come out.

Before I knew it, lessons from Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Metaphysics were in front of me, and I held certifications – and a great deal of new knowledge in my hands.

I was growing.

Once I embraced that there was something huge waiting for me, shining through my heart and guiding the way – my brand was ready. “I am The Self Esteem Doctor!” I announced…knowing that I was still developing it and not completely sure what that would come to mean.

Today, I am proud to be a collector of unique tools that help shift thoughts, beliefs, mindsets and behaviors. I am thrilled to take the stage anywhere around the world sharing these tools to eager audiences who are ready for change. I smile with deep appreciation for my online academy where students and families from over 20 different countries have 24/7 access to self-esteem building resources in the privacy of their own homes.

Wow! What a journey it has been.

And as a student of my own work, I hold my head high, facing the unknown, and limitless future, knowing that I am unstoppable and no matter what may come on my path, I am Divinely guided and the sky is NOT the limit for me. There are no limits for me – or for you!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For full transparency, I have to say that out of town trips are more my speed, but I can definitely dream something up with you, so here goes:

Bal Harbour here we come, honey! Shopping and Dining through the day.

Of course, The Beach and Pool parties at Fontainebleau would be worth checking out.

We are definitely getting on a boat and visiting a museum before our week is up.

And for the nightlife, we’ll shake things up between a party spot in Brickell – and definitely a trip to Moxies in Fort Lauderdale.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is certainly some truth to the saying that we are the sum total of our experiences. Moving forward requires growth and growth requires experiences. And those experiences come from everyone and everything around you.

That said, it gives me great pleasure to shout out the Divine for steady streams of love and inspiration to fulfill this calling in my heart.

Next, my family! From cheering me on and attending events to challenging me and giving me room to grow, I love and adore you with all that I am.

To my community of friends, clients, and colleagues who’ve become friends, thank you for opening doors for me and sharing my work in rooms I’ve never entered. I honor you and cherish your faith in me.
