Hi Suana, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The decision to treat modeling as a serious business venture and establish my own brand has been pivotal in my success. By monetizing my skills, constantly learning, and expanding into starting a modeling school, I have not only found a niche but also fostered valuable business relationships. This strategic approach has not only benefitted my own career but has also allowed me to help others in the industry. This combination of entrepreneurship, innovation, and giving back has evidently been a key factor in my businesses success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I began my modeling journey at the young age of 13. Despite the challenges I faced, having my mother by my side provided unwavering support. Persistence, dedication, and consistency were key in overcoming obstacles. Refusing to give up, I tackled challenges repeatedly until success followed. Now, as the proud CEO of the esteemed Suana Callum School Of Modeling & Etiquette, our reach extends globally, offering a diverse range of services to aspiring models and industry professionals alike. In addition to my modeling pursuits, my unwavering passion for racing occupies a significant part of my time. As I delve into the world of motorsports, the Suana Callum brand remains committed to striving for excellence and achieving greatness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m vegan! But for a friend who isn’t, I’d probably still recommend a few of my vegan favorite spots haha; – Veggie Campus is definitely one. They have one of the most flavorful & freshest natural foods ever! Not to forget their natural juices. Definitely recommending for a great spot to eat, drink & hangout all at once! Great atmosphere with good energy. They’re at 82 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston Jamaica.

When it comes on to having fun, I like to be active so paintballing, atv rides, scuba diving, zipling & hiking. My absolute favorite. There are a few spots I’d recommend for these activities.
– Chukka Adventures
– Mystic Mountain
– Negril
All located in Jamaica

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom deserves some of the credit for definitely believing that I could do what I said I would. So thank GOD she was & still is apart of my journey.
