This is something I have thought about in my business, as I am sure every business owner has. Times can be challenging and you are constantly tested. I have found that through all the obstacles I have faced with Beau, I have always come out of it still wanting to continue on in the business. I think if the passion is there then you can keep driving yourself forward. You will understand and know when it is time to pivot into a new direction if what you are currently doing is not working for you. I have pivoted a few times with how I proceed with marketing. Frank Altman | Social Entrepreneur and Founder
I am from Minnesota and have spent winters in Miami Beach since 2007. I was brought up with midwestern ethics including service, community and concern for others. When I was 15 years old, my father had a massive stroke and became disabled, our church and our neighbors came to the rescue and made sure we didn’t lose our house. My mother came to rely on me for support. She told me we didn’t have much money, and that I would have to do well in school and get a scholarship if I wanted to attend college. Read more>>

Chip Sovek | Audio Post Mixer – C.A.S. / M.P.S.E.
Being my own boss and starting a business scared the shit out of me, especially after 20 years in an industry I”d worked so hard to break into. Additionally, at a point in my life where I thought I had plateaued and would enjoy a long career being a company person. Little did I know at the time how much change would happen, not only industry-wide, but how much I could push myself onward and upward to higher plateau’s. I’d had built a career as a post production audio editor & mixer and was very comfortable being a staff mixer, the thought of jumping over that (freelance) fence was terrifying. Contrastly, I’ve always made the best decisions for my career, my family and my future under stress and I’m glad this was no different…Once I was put in the position of staring straight into the cross-roads, I knew deep in heart what the answer was, it was a matter of having the courage to take that first step! Fortunately, I had my best friend at my side to help steer my wild thoughts (and focus) and pull them into reality of following my heart. My wife still supports every decision and is always there to listen. Read more>>
Jenna Quinter | | Digital Marketing Maven, Fitness Enthusiast & Empowerment Advocate
Hey there friend! I’m Jenna, and my journey kicks off in Hawkins, TX, where I grew up on a small peach orchard and with a senior class of only 30 people, we could be the lyrics of a country song. Picture the one-stoplight vibe, and yep, that was my life! Battling early bullying fueled my dreams for something more, pushing me to cultivate a strong work ethic, a touch of grit, and a community built on kindness. Read more>>
Val Vargas | Artist & entrepreneur
What distinguishes me from others is my unique presence in the music industry as a female salsa artist. While salsa may not receive as much mainstream attention today, I have garnered a dedicated fan base that has allowed me to perform in concerts and live events, particularly across the United States & South America. Beyond my musical endeavors, I take pride in managing a small Latina female-owned business in South Florida, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of entrepreneurship in the region. It wasn’t easy, it does take patience and time, still taking time! Patience was one of the biggest challenges that I have overcome, and I did by mostly affirming and seeing the progress of all my hard work. Also, seeing the progress through the camera. One of my biggest lessons is that family will always be there even in your darkest moments & faith. “ My goal is to share my compositions with the world. Through my music, I aspire to reach every listener’s heart, reminding them that everything is possible. I wish to inspire a sense of independence. Read more>>
