Hi Alisa, what matters most to you?
Honesty is my number one value that matters most to me. I say this because without honesty you don’t have trust which is essential in personal and professional relationships. Trustworthy interactions build strong, lasting connections with clients, partners, and employees.

Maintaining honesty also ensures you act with integrity, which positively impacts your reputation. A solid reputation can be a significant asset for your business, attracting customers and collaborators who value ethical behavior.

Honest communication is also important, as it leads to transparency, which helps in setting clear expectations and avoiding misunderstandings. Transparency in business operations and decision-making processes can lead to better team cohesion and customer satisfaction.

Honesty also provides personal fulfillment. Living and working in alignment with your core values, such as honesty, can lead to greater personal fulfillment and satisfaction. It allows you to be authentic in your interactions and decisions.

These are just some of the reasons for me to highlight the importance and benefits of honesty as a central value in both personal and professional contexts.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Fashion Influencer targeting women over 50. AchicAlisa is the name of my company.

I have spent the past two decades immersed in the vibrant world of style and fashion. As a woman who has gracefully navigated her 40s and now into her 50s, I understand the unique beauty, confidence, and sophistication that comes with this stage of life. With a passion for fashion design, my mission is to empower women to embrace their individuality and express their inner elegance through timeless, yet modern, fashion choices.

My background was in Executive Healthcare, before retiring in 2020. I knew at a young age that I wanted a career in healthcare. I started out going to nursing school and changed my trajectory to business leadership in the healthcare arena. I spent most of my healthcare career in medical sales. This came easy for me because it was a passion. I absolutely loved everything about my career.

I want everyone to know that whatever you do in this world, it’s much better if you are passionate are about it. It makes life fun and enjoyable.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I’ve been thinking about all the fun stuff we can do together in Charlotte! Here are some of my favorite spots that I think she would love:

1. **Freedom Park**: Perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. We could walk around the lake, have a picnic, or even play some sports.

2. **NASCAR Hall of Fame**: For a bit of excitement and history. It’s super interactive and a lot of fun.

3. **NoDa (North Davidson)**: This artsy neighborhood is great for exploring galleries, grabbing some coffee, and checking out local boutiques.

4. **Carowinds**: If she were in the mood for thrills, Carowinds is the place to go. Roller coasters, water rides, and more!

5. **U.S. National Whitewater Center**: For some adventure, whitewater rafting, zip-lining, or rock climbing. There are also some beautiful trails for hiking and biking.

6. **South End**: This area is known for its craft breweries and vibrant nightlife. We could do a brewery crawl or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere.

7. **Discovery Place Science**: If we’re feeling curious, Discovery Place has tons of cool exhibits and an IMAX theater.

8. **BB&T Ballpark**: Catching a Charlotte Knights baseball game could be a blast, especially with the city skyline as a backdrop.

9. **Charlotte’s food scene**: We can’t miss out on trying some local eats. I’ve heard great things about places like Haberdish for Southern comfort food and The Office Craft Bar & Kitchen, which my husband and I own, is a fabulous place with a great patio.

10. **Topgolf**: For some casual fun, we could hit up Topgolf and enjoy a few rounds of driving range games.

This is just a few things that Charlotte, NC has to offer.
