Meet Jennifer Desroches | Author & CEO JAD Financial Wealth

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Desroches and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
“I believe my success can be attributed to a combination of habits that focus on continuous learning, discipline, and adaptability. First, I prioritize setting clear, achievable goals, which helps me stay focused and measure progress. I break these down into smaller, manageable tasks, ensuring that I can make steady progress each day.
Second, I’ve made a habit of consistently seeking feedback and reflecting on my experiences. This has helped me learn from both successes and mistakes, allowing me to adjust quickly and improve my skills.
Third, I focus on time management. I ensure that I’m proactive with my schedule and make time for both work and personal life, which helps me avoid burnout. Additionally, I’ve developed a habit of maintaining a positive mindset, even when faced with challenges. This mental resilience has been critical in overcoming obstacles and staying motivated during tough times.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
**What I’m Most Proud Of and Excited About:**
I’m most proud of the growth and resilience I’ve demonstrated throughout my entrepreneurial journey. Every milestone, from overcoming setbacks to achieving key business goals, has been a testament to perseverance and continuous learning. I’m especially excited about how my business has evolved and the impact it’s starting to have on others. What excites me the most is knowing that the work we’re doing is helping to solve real problems and make a difference in people’s lives.
**How I Got to Where I Am Today:**
Building my business has been a journey of consistent effort, adapting to changes, and learning from both success and failure. The path wasn’t easy, but I always kept the bigger picture in mind: creating something that not only I could be proud of but that would benefit others. Along the way, I sought out mentors, invested in personal development, and surrounded myself with a team that shared the same passion and vision. Through hard work and strategic risk-taking, I’ve been able to build a business that aligns with my values and goals.
**Was It Easy?**
No, it definitely wasn’t easy. There were times when I faced Physical Health struggles, self-doubt, and external challenges that seemed insurmountable. But I’ve learned that the hardest times often teach us the most. The key was to stay focused, remain adaptable, and not give up when things got tough. Instead of letting obstacles stop me, I learned to see them as opportunities to grow, evolve, and refine my approach.
**How I Overcame Challenges:**
I overcame challenges by staying committed to my vision and leaning into my support system. I surrounded myself with people who believed in me and were willing to offer advice, encouragement, and guidance when I needed it most. I also prioritized self-care, recognizing that a healthy mindset is crucial for navigating tough times. Additionally, I was always open to feedback and willing to pivot when necessary, knowing that flexibility is key to long-term success.
**The Lessons I’ve Learned:**
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that persistence is more important than perfection. Early on, I was focused on doing everything perfectly, but I quickly realized that the key to success is taking action, learning from mistakes, and continuously improving. Another lesson was the value of building strong relationships — not just with clients or customers, but with mentors, partners, and even competitors. The strength of your network can make or break your journey. Finally, I’ve learned that setbacks are simply setups for comebacks — every failure is an opportunity to learn and grow.
**What I Want the World to Know About Me or My Book and Story:**
I want the world to know that my story isn’t one of overnight success, but of hard-earned growth, learning, and resilience. My journey has been fueled by passion, purpose, and an unwavering belief in what I’m doing. Through my book (or business), I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams with courage, to persevere through challenges, and to never underestimate the power of a well-timed pivot. If my story can help someone else push past their fears or doubts, then all the challenges I’ve faced will have been worth it.
