Meet Conrad Bleus | Photographer.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Conrad Bleus and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Conrad, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m from Coral Springs Florida. I come from a broken family, and my mom took care me and my older brother. She also went to school and worked. So I had a lot of free time on my hands. So I always had to be into something. My first love was music and I played the drums prior to my parents splitting up. After the split I couldn’t do the drums the way I wanted to because my mom couldn’t afford it so I quit. But I still loved music and I got into Djing. I did that for a very long time. That turned into me actually making music. I just love the creative aspect of things. So I believe, me just loving to be in a creative space and having so much freedom made me the person that I am.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well I’m a photographer. I’ve shot pretty much everything. Right now I specialize in headshot photography. I’m most proud of the reaction I get when people see my work. I especially love the reaction in the studio as they see the images pop up on the screen. The toughest part for me is juggling my regular job and photography and home life. I’ve learned not to be so hard on myself and not be so critical. I just want the world to know I love what I do. I have fun doing it. I love meeting new people. What sets me apart is the atmosphere. I make it fun. It doesn’t have to be so serious and strict. Let’s just have fun and create some magic.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I would take them to Top Golf. For food I would go to Big Bear Brewing company or El Mariachi. Definitely to see a sunset at the Everglades.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well number 1 is my wife. True story, she wanted to be a photographer before I did. She is more of a take your time type person, where I am a jump head in and go nuts right away. So I think I just went too hard and I kinda stole it from her.
Also my friend Michael Ramirez who is a photographer as well. He pushes and pushes and pushes me. Sometimes it gets annoying but I know his heart is in the right place and genuinely wants me to succeed. I also watched a lot of youtube. I watched a lot of Manny Ortiz, Peter Hurley, Miguel Quiles, and Darrel Hoshing for pointers.
