We had the good fortune of connecting with George Gambino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Anything in general . But most importantly my children. My children have been the “ who inspires me” . To go into detail why they are my inspiration because it’s fun watching myself grow into my role as a father and watching them grow from babies to my little ladies. I’m most inspired by giving them the life they deserve.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel like what sets me apart from others is my ability to adapt . I know how to find my sound in what’s current in music and make it mine. My life has been on all madden. I don’t know how else to say it . I want yall to say exactly that . It’s been all madden. It’s definitely been challenges with past relationships with held me back from reaching my full potential. I was tip toeing around not wanting to mess up home. I learned to be unapologetic in being GEORGE GAMBINO . Do what works for me and focus on my career for
Me and my babies sake.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a matter of fact, I do have a good friend named Tito who lives in Miami – shout out to them . If they were to come here to Baltimore for a week I would need to take them to Jimmy’s Seafood out to eat for sure . Though controversial I can’t deny them. For a night with a VIP section , drink , and me opening up for a current artist I’d definitely take them to Ikonic. THEE hottest club in my city! – Shout out to Tracye and Stephan , they are curators and owners of Ikonic . Full of knowledge and putting the city on. Others to hang out with DJ Duke , SupaDj Big L and AJ Showtime. Other places to check out would be Eden’s and Miss Carter’s Kitchen. Shout out to Miss Carter!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My team. I swear I have the best team… My social media manager and sister Dee Dee ; my personal manager Giovanni ; my road manager Rickey Gambini ; my stylist Xiggy Stylez ; my visual team King G , Creative Mindz Dre , Swagged Out Media ; my personal security Brandon ; Tee Brown and last but not least Mike Cold my producer / engineer . The way my team has showed up and showed out in my rebranding it is only God. Definitely GOD FUNDED only he made this all possible. I cannot forget my Zoopie Zoops and Bookie Bear!
