I would love to continue inspiring others to become a healthier and stronger version of themselves throughout my career. With my personal brand that I am about to launch, Eat Your Best, my end goal is to impact thousands of people by providing them convenient nutrition solutions on a one-on-one or group basis to help them achieve their health, well-being, and performance goals through nutrition. When I think of the legacy that I want to leave for my daughter and my company Harris Public Relations, I think of community and inclusion. The majority of the clients we service are in black and brown communities, and are those whom the media tends to overlook or not deem worthy of coverage. The media is sometimes not aware of the people who are doing amazing things in black and brown communities in the way that they are in other communities. So at the end of my mission, as it relates to my company, I hope that I will have been able to share with others the extraordinary stories of those specific communities. I also hope that I will have inspired and encouraged media outlets to realize how important these stories are to fair and balance coverage. What is the end goal? I want to keep pushing the goal post back so that there’s never really an END. What my end goal was 13 years ago when I started Courtney Studios is definitely NOT what I want today. I love photographing families and creating beautiful portraits, but running a high volume portrait studio is no longer on my list of priorities. Life is evolving, and my goals are always changing. Three kids does that to you. I’m currently in the middle of taking the Florida Real Estate class (isn’t that what all the cool kids do?) to work with my sister. Both of us have bachelor’s in Elementary Education. We’re both definitely no longer on that career path. Grateful for all the opportunities that have allowed me to move and transition and grow.
