We had the good fortune of connecting with Emeril McCutcheon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emeril, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Great question, full transparency.. Work life balance is for people who believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus. Lol
But in all seriousness work is work. Fallinging in love with the process, creating and making something Thats bigger than yourself causes for working when you must. That’s nights, that’s weekends, thats on a spouses birthday or your child’s recital.
The balance comes when you’ve created the thing and then can plan for events and things accordingly.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’d say in this chapter what sets me apart is my niche now. I’m a man advocating for women with particular needs. Women experiencing real change hormonally. I don’t see many men in this space a lot, so me being here now and declaring this as my niche. Yeah, that.
What I’m most proud of and what excites me most is seeing such amazing transformations with my clients, seeing these women get their glow back is priceless.
How i got to where i am and me getting to where I’m at now business-wise is just me not stopping. In my heart and mind, i truly feel like I’m just getting started almost 10 years in.
It’s definitely not easy and never will be but wildly satisfying.
Lessons I’ve learned along the way, it’s never the “right time” Just do the thing and do it right away. Tomorrow isn’t promised.
What i want the world to know about this beautiful brand is that we are in the people business! We care about what you care about. Our brand story is simple see the same life you see when you close your eyes when you open. Limitless living, live in motion.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting we hitting the beach first, then we hitting the citadel in little Haiti there’s a bar inside called Kaiju, fire. I don’t drink but i enjoy the spot and how it’s curated. Def grab food at Manju while we are there. Then probably hit Design District to get fresh and grab a few pieces. Get a little pre-vibe going at Dante’s hi-fi Sparrows for dinner then finish up at medium cool. Something light.
A week long trip id throw in hitting little Havana to play domino’s at the Domino Park with some OG‘s.
Get active social at Brickel club.
Get a massage at the standard.
Back to the beach either at 1 hotel, Soho House or faena. And yeah wynwood in-between.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, I’d like to shout out all of my failed attempts at doing the “thing” and learning business, for that has been my greatest and most prominent teacher.
My church, my prayer partners, and my spiritual men’s group. God is everything to me, and having brotherhood through fellowship has been huge for me.
My circle! They keep me grounded, it’s small but mighty. I’ll spare them embarrassment and won’t name their names (Autumn, BJ, Ced, Jah, Rod, Jamali, Big Kevin) they keep me upright and dialed in. I love them all beyond words. They know.
My clients are my biggest inspiration truly. They deserve all the credit. Ou! and books/podcast Myron Golden, he’s a mentor of mine. He is but doesn’t know it lol he gives great insight and provides great content around business via biblical principles and references.
