We had the good fortune of connecting with Francis Mojica and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Francis, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create something that aligned with my lifestyle — something creative, adventurous, and meaningful. Starting my own business gave me the freedom to express who I am, explore new ideas, and build something that truly fulfills me

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a filmmaker and podcaster, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with world-renowned artists. But deep down, I’ve always wanted to leave my own mark through a more personal vision. For a long time, I was so focused on building other people’s dreams that I neglected my own. That shifted this year — I made a conscious decision to pour energy into myself, to improve every area of my life: physically, mentally, and professionally.

Since then, I’ve been working harder than ever on my own projects and dreams. What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with authenticity. My work is rooted in real stories, human emotion, and a drive to inspire others through my lens and voice.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is loneliness. Living in a big city on your own can weigh you down. But every time I feel that pressure, I remind myself that there’s no time to dwell — my focus has to stay on the things that matter: my projects and, most importantly, my daughter Ainhoa.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and my story, it’s this: I’m building something that reflects who I truly am — and I’m doing it with purpose, passion, and persistence

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Even though I don’t go out a lot in Miami, when friends visit, I make sure they get the best experience. For a weekend, I’d definitely take them out on a boat ride through Biscayne Bay — it’s one of the best ways to enjoy the city’s views and vibes.

We’d spend time in Miami Beach, maybe rent bikes or just walk the boardwalk. One of the days, I’d take them to Calle Ocho in Little Havana to enjoy some amazing Cuban food, live music, and culture — spots like Versailles or Ball & Chain are a must.

If we had a whole week, I’d mix in some nature with a day trip to the Everglades or Key Largo, and then bring it back to the city with dinner in Wynwood or Brickell — great places to eat, people-watch, and check out some art or nightlife.

What makes Miami exciting is the energy — it’s diverse, vibrant, and always moving. From Latin culture to beach life to creative scenes, there’s always something unexpected waiting around the corner.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I have to give credit to my own perseverance and constant drive to stay involved in something meaningful. I’ve always had this need to create and push forward. And second, a big shoutout to my friend Yanelis — she’s that one person who always says yes to my wild ideas. No matter how crazy they seem, she finds a way to make them possible. Her support and belief in me have meant everything.
