Hi Leopoldo, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I want to elevate the world through the game of golf by creating experiences where people can compete, learn, and connect.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am coming into the golf industry with something that’s truly unique. I created The Connected Golfer to grow the game of golf. I started that by making videos on social media. Over the course of 2 years I reached 100K organic followers and 7 online courses + 1 book on golf performance. I am building an online golf academy that will educate golfers on how to stay connected. I launched Quality Play with the intention of disrupting the profesional golf system. Its very expensive to make it on the PGA tour and the likelihood is very slim. I am creating a solution for players, coaches and influencers in golf to monetize their skills and connect with the right people to grow their business. In turn, we are providing a solution for corporate executives by offering to bring the players to enhance their client engagements. Weather it’s a resort, golf course or company, we can create a golf experience for them with our players. I am doing all of this because I want to carve a new path for the future generations to come. I’m pioneering a new journey and rolling with the punches, but I’ve learned to show up every single day with purpose. I am passionate about what I do. With all that going on, I still make time to play golf every day and continue to stay connected to the game.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them on a golf trip that has the ocean close by. We would eat healthy food, no alchohol. I would wanna go to the beach and go on the boat or jet skis. I love any ocean activity, being healthy and golf. That would be ideal

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yeah big shoutout to American Heritage for a great high school education and my parents for supporting my golf journey since the age of 3, allowing me to be able to compete since 7 years old until I turned pro. Shoutout to Jim McLean, one of the best teachers of all time for believing in me and teaching me for 4 years. Shoutout to Mindvalley for giving me an education post college that really opened my eyes to taking on life as a leader. Shoutout to Clarisse Lopez, my personal brand strategist AKA Conversation Queen for being by my side helping me understand my brand for over 3 years and going.
