We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Iskander and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is the Lords provision over it. He blessed me with the gift that I use to make my brand great and He has opened countless doors full of amazing opportunities that have allowed me to meet so many people and in result grow my business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Photography is an absolute art. Only select people have the true eye for it and you’re able to express so much of yourself by how you capture photos. I feel my editing sets me apart from others. Most people don’t realize how important editing really is, it’s what makes your photography stand out, it’s what makes people want to choose to book with you. Im so excited about the growth of my brand for only starting it about a year and a half ago. I got to where I am today because of the Lords faithfulness and the support of my friends and people around me who gave me a chance starting out and that resulted in word of mouth being the lottery for the growth of my brand. I’ve learned that not everyone’s gonna choose you and that’s ok because it just makes the people that choose you even more special. The story of my brand started out with me graduating high school early and going straight to working. I worked at that job for a year and realized that wasn’t the thing for me so I quit, gave it to God and He blessed it more then I could imagine.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to downtown St Augustine first. There’s so many photo spots and restaurants and shopping places to hit up. We’d eat at green papaya (love me some sushi) then hit up cookie bird (the best ice cream) another day. We’d go to the beach duh!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dad got me into photography when I was a little kid. He always brought his camera everywhere and I wanted to do just the same. My parents put me in sport after sport when I was younger but photography has always been one of my favorite hobbies that I’ve come back to.
