How did you come up with the idea for your business?

It takes a lot more than an idea to build a business, but there can’t be a business without the idea. So we asked folks who’ve built wonderful businesses to tell us about how they came up with the idea in the first place.

As a busy mom running home life, personal life and a very busy event design business, my own health and wellness definitely suffered. I tried ordering meal delivery services – all which I did not feel supported my health goals for myself or my family. I was exhausted trying to find products that treated my skin as good as I needed. Everything you touch now has chemicals or plastics in it. Nothing is pure anymore. The idea for our YouTube channel began with a simple desire: to keep reading to our nephews after a brief stay with us in our tiny New York City apartment. Let me explain!
Due to family circumstances, our nephews came to live with us for a while. One night, my wife — the “StoryTeller” of our channel — offered to read them a bedtime story. They scoffed at the idea, insisting they were too sophisticated and preferred watching movies meant for much older people (aka adults).
