Meet Stormy Sage | Flirt with your Future Self with Stormy Sage: Digital Creator, Podcast Host, and Mentor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stormy Sage and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stormy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
To me, living life on Earth is inherently a risk. Every choice we make, whether it’s starting a relationship, launching a business, or simply trying something new, comes with no guaranteed outcome. It might turn into the best thing that ever happened to you, or it might break your heart.
Once I began looking at everything as a risk, the playing field leveled out. Suddenly, the “big risks” didn’t feel so different from the small ones. That perspective gave me permission to leap, and each leap became a doorway into the person I was becoming.
Looking back, every bold decision I’ve made was me “flirting with my future self.” When I quit my job, sold my house, booked a one-way ticket across the world, became a contract travel nurse, ended relationships to choose myself, or started posting online and launched my business, each of those moments felt terrifying at the time. But deep down, I knew they were invitations from my future self to step closer to her.
That’s what I now teach in my work: when you learn to see risk through the lens of your future self, it stops feeling reckless and starts feeling inevitable. Of course, she would take the leap. Of course, she would bet on herself. Of course, she would figure it out.
Working in the medical field for nearly a decade also gave me a unique perspective. I’ve seen how fragile life is and how short. In many cultures, death is a natural part of the conversation, and I think that’s healthy. Knowing our time here is limited should shake us awake. Instead of saying, “Maybe next year” or “I wish I could do that,” we could be asking: “If life is short, why not now?”
Everything incredible in my life, including epic trips, new career opportunities, and life-changing relationships, has been born from risk. And the more you do it, the easier it gets. Each leap builds evidence that you are capable, that you can figure things out as you go, and that the unknown often holds more magic than danger.
For me, risk-taking isn’t about recklessness; it’s about aliveness. It’s about co-creating with your future self, following her winks and whispers, and letting that playful flirtation with possibility guide you into a bigger, braver life.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m the founder and voice behind Stormy Sage Media, a creative playground where personal growth meets spirituality, playful creativity, and quantum possibility. My mission is to help you world-build your life by “flirting with your future self” and push the edges of your soul, brain, and ego all at once.
What excites me most is that I make transformation feel fun. Personal development doesn’t have to feel like homework; it can feel like flirting with possibility, like designing a life that excites you to wake up every morning. I create my content to feel like you are immersed in a mindset diary and a multiversal pep talk to inspire you to think of all the possibilities that exist.
Through my content on YouTube (@StomySageMedia), TikTok (@TheStormyShowPodcast), Instagram (@StormySageMedia), Substack (Flirty Future Diaries), and my podcast (The Stormy Show), I help people stop abandoning themselves and start stepping into the identity of who they know they’re meant to be.
The truth is, I used to be my own biggest obstacle. I abandoned my dreams over and over again, hiding behind self-doubt, low self-worth, and fear of being seen. What shifted everything for me was realizing I needed to change how I saw myself. Once I began embodying the identity of a writer, a creator, a business owner, and someone capable of building her dream, everything changed.
That’s what I now teach others: how to step into their future identity and collapse the gap between who they are now and who they’re becoming.
Currently, I’m focused on:
1. My upcoming ebook: Flirt with Your Future Self Handbook. The Handbook will be your go-to playful guide to become your flirty future self. It will help you collapse timelines, flirt with possibility, and step boldly into your future self. Packed with exercises, prompts, and cosmic invitations, this handbook makes personal growth fun, flirty, and utterly transformative, because reinvention should feel like an adventure, not homework.
2. Expanding my podcast: The Stormy Show into a dreamy audio diary blending spirituality, story, and pep talks for those craving a fresh start.
At the core of everything I do is this belief: you don’t have to wait for the perfect moment to become who you’re meant to be. You can start flirting with your future self right now.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I just moved to Santa Fe, so I’m still exploring! But if we rewound to my last city in the Cincinnati/Kentucky area, here’s the itinerary I’d create:
1. Morning matcha at Carabello Coffee (truly the best matcha I’ve ever had).
2. A long city walk across the bridges and through the OTR neighborhood, popping into local shops and hidden gems.
3. Dinner at Collette’s, where the butter, bread, and fish are unforgettable.
4. Ending the night at Ghost Baby, an underground jazz bar with live music and the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another era.
Now, in Santa Fe, I’m creating new memories, and I’m excited to find the kinds of soulful, magical spaces that match this new chapter.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My purpose wasn’t something I stumbled into all at once; it was a breadcrumb trail of curiosity, intuition, and support from the right people, books, and experiences at the right time.
What I’ve learned is that the best compass you can follow is your own curiosity. That spark of “this feels interesting” has led me into every transformation of my life. Along the way, I’ve leaned on mentors, retreats, books, psychics, and podcasts that helped me peel back layers of self-doubt and uncover new possibilities.
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work was a game-changer at the beginning; his books and meditations cracked open my understanding of how identity and possibility are intertwined. Later, other works became anchors: The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, Womb Awakening by Azra & Seren Bertrand, The Sophia Code by Kaia Ra, The Codes of Divine Love by Christina Rice, Mary Magdalene Revealed by Meggan Watterson, The Celestine Prophecy series by James Redfield,, and How to Die Happy by Martin O’Toole.
Podcasts like Expanded by To Be Magnetic, Rewilding by Sabrina Lynn, Multidimensional by Christina the Channel, and Big Deal by Codie Sanchez reminded me that reinvention and possibility are always available. And diving deep into human design, astrology, astrocartography, and numerology gave me language for things I had always felt intuitively.
So really, my purpose found me through a thousand little doors of curiosity that I was brave enough to walk through.
