We had the good fortune of connecting with Adriana Catano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adriana, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
In the beginning of Catano Beauty there was no work-life balance. There was only work. Today balance is non-negotiable. I lead with intention, protect my energy and understand that rest is not a luxury. Rest is leadership and a tool to success. This shift has made me a stronger CEO and a more present woman.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Catano Beauty was not launched to follow a trend or put my name on a product. I wanted a vegan skin care line that truly delivered results. The biggest lesson has been that authenticity and integrity matter much more than hype or trends. What I want people to know most is that Catano Beauty is rooted in real results, plant- based science and the belief that it is never too late to reinvent yourself.
I am incredibly proud of how Catano Beauty has grown with intention. We started with just five products, and today we have thirteen. Each product was created with the same integrity and commitment to results. Being recognized with awards from New You Media and Bella Media + Co is especially meaningful because it validates the quality, science and heart behind the brand.
Catano Beauty has been successful because I never give up. I consistently show up, on television, social media and wherever I can authentically share the brand. Persistence, visibility and believing in myself and my brand even before all the wins are what got us here.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start with the beach! There is nothing like the sun, sand and ocean to kick off the day. Followed up by a work out at the gym. We would head out to the best restaurants in Coral Gables every day for lunch. For dinner, Brickell restaurants never disappoint. In addition, a few days for shopping at Brickell City Center and Merrick Park and definitely at least one night at the movies. On Sundays church service at Christ Fellowship Church for the win.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Catano Beauty’s success has not been a solo effort. Our lab deserves immense credit for helping bring my vision to life with the best formulas, integrity and excellence. I’m also deeply grateful to the hundreds of beauty influencers who genuinely fell in love with Catano Beauty and shared it authentically. Most importantly, to my daughter Gabriella who has been involved in every marketing detail, her creativity, dedication and belief in Catano Beauty have been priceless. Lastly to my best friend Emilio Uribe who helped with the launching of the brand.
