We had the good fortune of connecting with Ash Kai and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ash, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
well if were gonna start from the beginning then I must say that fashion isn’t my first successful entrepreneurial venture but definitely my main passion. ever since I was young I’ve always been intrigued and fascinated by the process of fashion and seeing the way people would be carrying themselves and how people would perceive you by your image I always got inspired from upscale brands and designers such as Balenciaga Karl Lagerfeld Tom Ford Riccardo Tisci jerry Lorenzo to Urban wear Like Evisu Red monkey Coogi & Virgil. im the perfect example of how these 2 worlds colliding

What should our readers know about your business?
nothing in life is easy but what differentiate me from others is that when it was hard I did not give up since im a problem solver by nature and maybe because im hard headed and really am competitive and love to win it may be a gift and a curse but I truly love what I do that was my motivation ! I have to admit that when I see my clients wearing the outfits I provide them it brings me great pride because I get to be their personal shopper but also stylist. often times I get stylist session appointed from athletes and other form of social media stars not to name drop. some of the lessons that ive had to learn the hard way was to be giving but also be wary of people taking advantage my kindness ive had people steal from me indirectly tell me they would pay next week and never to be seen again or scam through card payment. so with that being said it was a hurdle that was overcome and a lesson learned .

my story started as a young kid from the south of France ( Cannes,Côte d’Azur) born and raised if you know anything about this wonderful city its beautiful year round but from march to September its an absolute show stopper from luxury cars to yacht parties and f1 as well as international film festival. all that to say that being exposed to this since I was a child gave me great inspiration to be involved in this field and meet phenomenal People from all walks of life and different place since cannes is an international hub for upscale society

im very excited because not only we carry all sorts of known luxury brands and hype beast clothing and accessories but we’ve recently secure a partnerships with a few brands that are not very known in America but once we launch it will make a lot of noise so this is something to look forward to

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
haha that’s a fun fact about me im an extremely disciplined and organized person but when it comes to planning dates travels and such im terrible I enjoy the finer things and my assistant knows exactly what I like so when I expect any visitor or anything of the sorts she’s usually the one making those arrangements for me and god knows im so picky so may god bless her heart !

on this note I like spending time in sunny Miami in the summer or maybe Malibu for a weekend or spend time in Cannes this never gets old they have fabulous beach clubs but if were talking about my favorite place that I can spend time there and not count the seconds would be Dubai ive been there countless times and the city keeps developing it comes second to known I guess from what you can gather I love the heat

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
that’s a cool section well first and foremost the people that ive been following closely in their carreers and craft are definitely Tom Ford and how much he was able to save and Revamp the Gucci catalog and ready to wear industry for high fashion. his creativity and designs are very precise but also have the ability to flow which is a perfect representation of life discipline and consistency will take you further than people realize but lets not get too philosophical also Virgil abloh maybe its the nerdy side of me but his futuristic designs from off white to the LV collection are truly works of art and need to be in the MOMA all this started from his “pyrex” collection so may he rip and his legacy will live on !
as far as books are concerned one of my first book was think and grow from Napoleon hill I was in my early teens as well how to become a people magnet by mark reklau and they’ve truly resonated with me and the power of thoughts and how discipline and focus is crucial in order to achieve something great because hard work will beat talent every time and how important keeping your words, be a good listener will not only enrich your mind but also be a better thinker in order to make better sound decisions
