We had the good fortune of connecting with Priscilla Guasso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Priscilla, what do you attribute your success to?
In the era we currently live in where social media demonstrates all the amazing highlights of our lives, unfortunately it doesn’t show the struggles, tears and moments of defeat to get to Success. Success for me with Latinas Rising Up In HR is to have a Community that not only shares their keys of knowledge and Success with one another, but is focused on changing the face of HR and the workplace to Focus on the Success of latin@ talent. The Success with our Organization is because at the core we have Leaders that truly Care and are invested in making a change in our Community, to inspire the next generation and extend a hand. We have had such a great following because of staying true to our valúes and being the bridge to welcome corporations and allies to join us in our Mission.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Through building my organization of Latinas Rising Up In HR it has pushed me to be uncomfortable by not having all the answers and process of how to do things. To know me is to know I am a girl of process and when there isn’t one, I build it. Being on this entreprenuer journey I’ve learned so much about all the details it takes to run an Organization such as invoicing, marketing, website design, planning and how to hybrid this with the emoción of what I want this brand and service to do: Build Community, Education, Change and Action. Through this I created my personal business called Manifesting Leadership Group, LLC where I’m personal taking my 16+ Years of learnings in Corporate America and speaking, training and coaching leaders that are not currently getting this in their place of Employment or are looking for added support in their own journey. Throughout this journey I’ve also Learned to embrace failing miserably at trying new things and that it is ok. I am also Learning that not everything can be done in one year, how to Bring others along with me as I grow and making time to recharge. The Great thing about these learnings is I wouldn’t Change anything about my learnings…I would do it all again and cannot wait to see us sit together at the University of Miami on 10/15/2022 to talk through these exact items. What’s most important to know about me is that I love advocating and being that bridge for our Latina Community with our allies and invite others to join us in making a change in leadership with advocating and sponsoring more Latinas to the top Executive roles. It is not easy, but requires us all to commit and exectute. Action is key. I cannot wait to see what is in store for us in 2023 and beyond! Join us on our journey and if you have any needs for speakers please don’t hesitate to reach out

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am where and who I am today because of so many amazing people that believed in my abilities and dreams. I’m grateful to all my authors of volume 1 that believed in the power of sharing their story and followed my intuition as I continued to dream bigger for our Community. I’m also extremely grateful to my Husband and Family, my past and current coworkers, my Publisher Fig Factor Media, my creative and website developers Anti H, my Executive Assistant Jessica (previously Claudia) and the entire following we continue to build. It takes a Community truly coming together and opening doors for one another. I intend to keep doing that and connecting the dots to be a change Agent where #TogetherWeRise.
