There’s a ton of research around how setting habits can help us conserve energy because it reduces the number of decisions we have to make in a day. However, not all habits are created equal and so we’ve asked our community to tell us about the habits they have been most effective for them.

I want to make a difference in this world by inspiring others to be their authentic selves. I feel like sometimes we get caught up in how we are “supposed” to be or act, but I find that setting yourself apart from others is extremely important and necessary. As someone going into television broadcasting, I want people to feel like they can relate to who I am as a person and have trust in me whether I am telling them the upcoming week’s weather forecast or simply being honest about going to therapy and my mental health. I see a legacy as a gift to those that truly worked hard to be remembered and a gift for those to remember that person by. The thought of being fortunate enough to leave a legacy is apart of my ingredients to maintain my high level of ambition. If I am lucky enough to lead my career into a light deserving of leaving a legacy I want it to be a statement that sky is not the limit which are words I live by. I grew up hearing the sky is the limit and it’s not true cause past the blue sky and white clouds is galaxies and planets unknown and have yet to be discovered unless you break past the barriers and say to see what one is truly capable of. What a great question to reflect on. Definitely staying truthful/aligned with my authentic self, not settling, staying disciplined, and staying extremely organized. I strive for efficiency in every aspect of my life. Once you find/create your system and you can stay organized, life becomes much smoother.
