One of the most rewarding things about getting to know so many entrepreneurs is seeing first-hand how many of them are focused on so much more than just financial results. So many of the folks we connect with are focused on having a positive social impact on their community or the world at large. Check out some of these amazing folks below.

Stefano Carl Selorio | Founder & CEO

Carevocacy helps the community and the world by bridging the digital gap between our older adults with today’s technology. It’s a huge gap. We have many of our older adults who unfortunately don’t know how to navigate or use today’s technology. And it creates a lot of problems, for example. We had many of our older adults socially isolated during the pandemic because they couldn’t connect with their friends or families. I’ve learned that our business has really helped families connect with their elderly loved ones. Every time we teach them about technology through our classes, they feel empowered, smarter, and confident. They have someone who believes in them, who understands what they’re going through, and who is more patient enough to help them understand today’s technology, and so that’s why I believe. Our business has a social impact on the communities we serve. Read more>>

Amanda Abbott | Founder Gulf Therapy & Realtor

Gulf Therapy is a non-profit organization that encourages people to get on the water for mental wellness. We live in a beautiful location in Northwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico and I bring people out on paddle boards to experience the therapeutic qualities of salt water. They say salt water heals and it truly does. You can see people get the release they need and feel a sense of peace. The sound of the waves actually connect with your brain wavelengths and can allow you to feel calm. When I notice if someone needs an extra layer of support I also pay for their therapy sessions on land. I do feel this makes a difference for people in our community. I hope that it encourages the world to pay more attention to mental health as well. Read more>>

Viktoriya Greis | Pilates Teacher and Proud mommy

My business is teaching people how to be healthy, fit, mindful and aware. Pilates is not just a sport, it’s a journey to a better version of yourself. It’s a self-love journey. I’m convinced that it’s crucial to introduce every single body to this beautiful movement method. Because it’s the beginning of awakening. Everyone can benefit from pilates: kids, elderly, men and women. It should be taught at schools, honestly. Healthy spine – happy life! Making pilates your daily routine not only keeps you fit and lean, but also sane. It’s mind-body-soul connection and i can’t stress enough how important it is to connect with yourself daily.
