We had the good fortune of connecting with Hossein Kasmai and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hossein, can you tell us about what you are most excited or proud of in terms of the business you’ve built?
At Franchise Creator, we help businesses expand through franchising. Business owners come to us in order to turn their operation into a franchise and help them grow into multiple locations worldwide. With each new franchise location opened, the new business pays taxes to local or state taxes, contribute to the local economy and more importantly provide new job opportunities locally. As the Founder and CEO of Franchise Creator, I am proud of the fact that we have thus far turned close to 450 brands into franchises and seen each of them grow into multiple locations nationwide and even worldwide in some cases. In the process, we have added tens of thousands of jobs for people in various cities throughout the United States. I am happy and proud to have had a significant impact on job creation and the local economy in many cities around the country.
What should our readers know about your business?
Franchise Creator is a leading franchise development and consulting firm. Businesses of various sizes hire our services in order to make them franchise ready and to turn their operation into a franchise model. After their business is ready to grow through franchising, we begin to award franchises for them in various parts of the world and help them become the next big brand through franchising. I am excited and proud to have created wealth for a lot of our clients. Many of our clients came to us with only one or two locations and ended up with tens of locations in just a few years and in some cases even experienced an exit through a buy-out. My journey into the entrepreneur world started when I was younger. As an Electrical Engineer, I have contributed to the development of many consumer and b2b products. One of my inventions provided peace of mind for parents with younger children. I started a company called Guard-A-Kid that provided parents with a set of printed and digital fingerprint image of their child along with their head shot photo and other detailed information which could become instrumental in a missing child scenario. I quickly franchised the business and grew it to 175 franchises in 11 countries in a very short time. Guard-A-Kid was ranked among the top 100 fastest growing franchises by multiple publications/magazines and was later acquired by an investment firm. I then started Franchise Creator in order to help other business owners who work hard every day but feel like they just can’t advance. By showing them how franchising is that one secrete that can help them reach their dreams, I was able to help over 450 brands grow through franchising. Today, my entrepreneurship spirit is higher than ever. I am now involved in over a dozen businesses that include concepts such as tele-medicine (Telemedicnetwork.com), mobile oil change service (LubyDudes.com), cloud kitchen restaurants, high tech residential cleaning services (Tinamaids.com), digital marketing and more. The life of an entrepreneur is not easy. But then again, easy has never been the selected choice for me. If its easy anyone can do it. If you want to be different than others, then leave the easy route to others. I have always said “The road to the top is very bumpy, but the view from the top is amazing”.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am blessed to be living in one of the most beautiful cities on earth. Miami is a city that I have spent most of my adult life in. I enjoy fine food experiences and Miami is known for having some of the best spots for fine cuisine. Night life and beaches are also major identifiers of this city. One of my favorite spots in Miami is Komodo, a bar/restaurant located in Brickell with a magnificent ambiance for dinner or even cocktails. My favorite food is Persian food. Unfortunately Miami doesn’t have a large Persian community and therefore hard to find good Persian spots. Mediterranean, Greek and Sushi are also some of my other favorites. Poke Mahi serves some of the best Poke and other Asian dishes that are simply amazing. For Greek, I like Kiki on The River. Its a great spot with good food, but a better atmosphere. Great music, great drinks along with great views of the Miami River.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize my staff who I consider my second family. I would have never been able to accomplish one tenth of what I have accomplished without them. I have always believed that employees are the single greatest asset for a business owner/entrepreneur. I am particularly thankful to those that believed in my dreams and stayed with me throughout my journey. I am forever grateful for their dedication and support.
