Growing up I struggled with a lot of family issues and when I didn’t know where to turn, music was always there for me. I allowed myself to heal through music and I slowly became aware of how much it would help. Then I began showing music to my mom, my sister, my friends, specific ones that I thought would resonate with them, and I started to see how they would heal through it too, how they would listen to each line and feel as if they were expressing their emotions without having to say a single word.
