We had the good fortune of connecting with Mikayla Jade and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mikayla, why did you pursue a creative career?
Since I was young I always felt a deep connection to music and gravitated towards everything around it. Once I started my own music, I found it to be such a healthy/pure way to express myself. For other people to be able to resonate with it, too is a dream.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Staying persistent, humble, and purpose have played a key role into where I am now. Power of prayer never fails, also! I’ve had situations try to throw me off, yet I’ve always made my way back to my true self I think that’s vital when you’re trying to elevate.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Gulf port area is a perfect time for the beach, they’re popular for their mom & pop cafe’s. Downtown St. Pete has everything, best music, artwork, ice cream. For a picnic or a nice walk, I’m always at Abercrombie Park. It’s that old vintage vibe and perfect view of the water. It doesn’t miss lol.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
