How did you choose a creative path?

Deciding to pursue an artistic or creative career path isn’t for the faint of heart. Challenges will abound, but so many of the artists we speak with couldn’t be happier with their choice. So, we asked them about how they made the decision in the first place.

Creativity has always naturally been apart of who I am. I’ve been an artist since age 3. From drawing to music to merch. I always knew the creative life was for me. I’ve always been drawn to fashion, art, and music. Ever since I was young, I used my imagination to create looks that felt different and expressive. I love putting together outfits that are unique and sophisticated—something that tells a story and stands out without being over the top. Ever since I was a little girl in Cuba, art was the one space where I could truly breathe. Music, painting, and performance were never hobbies — they were lifelines.
