We had the good fortune of connecting with Liat Neuman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liat, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve always been drawn to fashion, art, and music. Ever since I was young, I used my imagination to create looks that felt different and expressive. I love putting together outfits that are unique and sophisticated—something that tells a story and stands out without being over the top. I never wanted to blend in or look boring—style is my way of turning everyday life into something a little more inspiring.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my journey when I moved to Canada 15 years ago. I began by volunteering at fashion weeks just to get a foot in the door and connect with people in the industry. From there, I started writing for a fashion magazine and slowly grew my Instagram account. It wasn’t easy in the beginning—things were tough and progress was slow—but with hard work, consistency, and passion, I started building real connections and meaningful collaborations. It’s been a journey, but every step taught me something and brought me closer to where I am today.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am from Toronto , Canada .
but visited Miami several time .
My favorite place to hang out would be the Brickle, I love the urban modern atmosphere with lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and fashionable stores

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my grandmother. She always inspired me with her elegance, her sense of style, and the beautiful way she lived her life. She taught me that true style comes from confidence, grace, and staying true to yourself.
